CourtMap ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in data centres compliant with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards. Data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Access to user data is restricted to the authenticated user and the CourtMap service.

CourtMap does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage solely to remember your UI preferences (e.g. whether you have dismissed the install banner). Firebase may use limited technical cookies required for authentication and service operation.

9. Children's Privacy

CourtMap is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the app. Continued use of CourtMap after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
